1: so, how can we use the energies of Feng Shui to help us attract love into our lives?
2: well I’m so glad you asked and thank you so much
1: you’re welcome
2: for this example we see the bed in the corner of the room. The bed isn’t attached to any wall, and therefore you are not attached to the house.
2: so the important thing when you are attracting love is that you feel grounded, so we would want to place the bed with the head against the wall. Now, that noted, we wouldn’t want to place the bed against two walls.
2: the person might be sleeping too close to the wall and if another person came in, they’d be trapped!
2: so the best position to put the bed is with the head against one wall, yes
1: ok, so this only pertains to lovers or couples NOT to a child’s bedroom
2: this is when we want to attract love especially
2: so we need to add some furniture, do you have a nightstand?
1: yes I do, I’ve got two of them right here
2: that’s perfect, we wanna have matched sets. We put one on one side and one on the other side. You want to have two
2: now do you have a dresser?
1: ok, a dresser, I think I have one, ok, right here
2: yes! Now large furniture can be a problem if they are too close to the bed. If it was to fall over…
1: I see
2: now there’s something else that people need to be aware of…
2: what we have here is a little dresser with a mirror, and most people think, wow!, the best place for a mirror is right across from the bed
2: this is unlucky, and doesn’t help you find love
2: so you wanna place this to one side
1:can we place that against this wall?
2: yes it can go against this wall
1: yes, or it could go against this wall
2: as long as we’re not looking out past our feet and seeing a mirror
1: I see
2: so. So now we wanna add things to bring love, so, a nice bunch of flowers would be good
1: ok, there is a little tiny flower OH I love this flower
1: isn’t it adorable!
2: yes, so place the flowers on the empty side of the bed. That will help you attract love
2: and flowers represent joy
2: so we would be attracting a joyful partner. There’s also a few things that we don’t want in the bedroom
2: so, you know how popular it is now to have skulls and cross bones
2: and all the kind of pirate stuff
2: we don’t want any skulls, we don’t want any bones, or any dead things in the bedroom
1: ok so no images associated with death
2: so speaking of images, what we want, we want images of things that are pairs
2: so I have a piece of art here that is a bad example, and that is…this. You see this picture here, this has a single woman, yes she’s beautiful this is a wonderful picture, but it’s just one person
1: oh I see, ok, so
2: so it has that energy of being solitary
1: but if there were another person here would that be ok
2: Yes! Exactly
2: or if there were two people and they were dancing
2: or dining together
1: how about if there were two women images
2: well that is some people’s lifestyle choice
1: ok, so that would be ok too
1: if that’s what you want to attract
2: if that’s what you want to attract
1: ok, so that’s good
1: so objects, same principle?
2: yes, if you have a pair of objects, I think you have a pair of objects
2: you want something fairly friendly
2: here we have a pair of fish
2: and so this can be hung in the bedroom. So, just like a school of fish this can attract different options for you
2: it attracts, er, many opportunities
2: in case you’re really dating
2: you could also have things like ducks, mandarin ducks they mate for life
2: so you would place a pair of ducks to find a life long partner
1: so can it be, like, pairs of nature or two flowers, two plants
2: exactly, you can often find great pictures of one tall tree with one smaller tree, or two flowers, intertwined
1: I see, ok, so anything pair. Any other advice?
2: well, you can burn candles
1: romance and ambience, so here…
2: ah! Beautiful
2: so you’ve chosen two red candles, which is ideal, so, you would choose one candle larger and one candle smaller
1: oh I see
2: yes, but red is our best colour for attracting love, you know, er, we get a little bit confused we think sometimes pink is the colour for love but pinks fine for maintaining a relationship
1: I see
2: but you want the passion
2: so red candles are best. You’d wanna light these candles and you’ll let them burn for an hour or so each night until you have the love of your life
1: ok, so one hour, per night, burn the candles
1: and burn both of them
2: yes, and if you miss a night that’s fine
1: so two red candles, burn one hour a night.
2: right. Colour, as I was talking about the red and the passion are really important
1: right, yes
2: you wanna change the energy of the bedroom, add a red bed spread
1: right so is that a solid red? Or mixed with other colours?
2: as long as it is predominantly red
1: any other objects and images we can use?
2: well yes, the heart is the universal symbol of love
2: so if you have a heart shaped box or bowl you could place that on the nightstand on the empty side of the bed, so
2: that’s what you are wanting to attract
1: ok empty side of the…so maybe a heart shaped pillow?
2: oh yes! That would be great!
2: yes. If you want to improve your relationship, take a look at his nightstand
2: is it covered in business magazines, some aspirin? Then you know there’s a problem
2: so you can place the pairs of objects on the nightstand to help the relationship
1: so all you have to do is move a little furniture, bring in some pairs of images, light some candles, then voila! You’ve got Feng Shui for love!
